Making money isnt easy. Saving that money is even harder with all the stuff that you want, renovations, the perfect gift for your significant other, toys and gifts for your kids, paying for the university, Christmas shopping and so on. In the midst of it all, some people have discovered the secret of using what they have to buy what they want without breaking the bank. Let me now show you in 10 easy steps how to save your hard earned cash while still enjoying life with your family.
Buy it used: Most second hand stores have a great selection of clothes and other household goods. Be sure to shop around to find the best deals. You can find great, new looking clothes in affordable prices.
Off Season shopping: Do your shopping off season; almost all stores have off season sales so you can buy great winter clothes in summer and save up to 80%.
Shop Online: I have to admit shopping in person is much more fun but shopping online can sometimes save you a lot of money. As the internet becomes more and more competitive, businesses always post great deals and coupons to lure new customers and keep the old ones.
Join Mailing Lists: Often times companies send out special deals and coupons to their mailing list members. This can be a great way to save.
Bookmark coupon sites: There are many coupon websites online, bookmark them! They usually have a huge database of information and coupons for everything. Youll have to do some research to weed out the spammy ones and keep the best ones.
Join Coupon Trains: A coupon train is a large list of coupons and addresses. Each person in the train removes the coupons they want, adds some more and passes it on to the next person.
Free Samples: A lot of companies give out free test samples to promote new or existing products. Dont be shy to sign up for these. They can get you a lot of cool freebies saving you hundreds of dollars.
Join Reward programs: Companies offer rewards to existing customers who refer new customers. This can be a great way to tell your friend about the new designer store in town while earning a little bit of cash for yourself.
Flyers and coupon inserts: Most newspapers have a ton of coupon inserts and most companies send out their own flyers as well, so be sure to check them out. They can save you a lot of money!
Discount Cards: There are various discount cards for students, seniors and so on. Look around to see if you can find one for yourself too. I saved a lot using discount cards during my university days.
Lets face it, we all enjoy shopping and buying the best things for our kids and family. The good thing is, we can do it without going broke. Use the above tips to save money for tomorrow while still buying everything you want.
